Hello Sarah,
For Shabbat menus and my to-do lists, I use a system of printing labels and putting them in my planning notebook. They help give me structure and flexibility. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/clkl/398754085/)
I just discovered your wonderful blog! You have posted so many great and new recipes, and you've only been here this month! I can't wait to see what else you have in store.
I hope you don't mind, but I forwarded your blog to the upcoming Kosher Cooking Carnival (it'll be KCC22 at Batya's blog) (http://blogcarnival.com/bc/submit_208.html and http://me-ander.blogspot.com)
(I'm not brave enough to try your kale chips, but am all over the idea of Raspberry Vinegar from the teabags!)
All the best,
CLKL

Wow CLKL,
Thanks for your enthusiastic endorsement! I couldn't find the picture of your planning notebook, but did see your project list reboot. Go girl go!
Yeah, I got obsessed with adding recipes in the beginning, and I will get obsesessed again, but for now, my other website, SolutionsForBusyMoms.com needs a little attention.

For me, the menu planning is the easy part. It's dragging myself out of the house to go to the supermarket and butcher shop that I delay, procrastinate, don't feel like doing.
I find it interesting that you have Salad/Soup on one line. My kids love soup, but they rarely eat salad. I almost always make the same chicken soup, because my kids love it. Salad is easy; I just make sure there are some greens in the refrigerator, and I wash them on Shabbat morning. I can add something different to the greens every week (carrots, red cabbage, raddichio, nasturtium, radish, whatever I like).
